The core belief is that faith-based principles are a key part of achieving holistic healing and well-being.
Culturally Sensitive
This is a mental health approach that acknowledges, respects, and incorporates a client’s unique cultural, ethnic, religious, and social background into their treatment plan. Therapists using this method tailor their approach to individual clients rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, ensuring treatment aligns with their client’s values, beliefs, and experiences. This includes understanding how factors like race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and language influence a person’s worldview and well-being.

Humanistic Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
This is a therapy that teaches mindfulness skills, combining guided meditation, gentle yoga, and body awareness exercises to help manage stress, anxiety, and chronic pain. The core principle is to pay attention to the present moment without judgment, which can help individuals regulate their emotional reactions and build greater resilience to life’s challenges.
